The story began with a simple vision to supply and provide high-quality and affordable medical equipment and health-care products. For this end, Al-Arifi Medical Group for Services and Hospital Supplies was established in 1997 in Yemen.

Furthermore, in 2002, we established VITATECH and Al Arifi Star Pharma Ltd. to provide pharmaceutical related products, cosmetics and personal care products, medical devices, medical laboratory reagents, and rapid test kits. We managed to meet the needs of the local market all over Yemen.

Moreover, to contribute in health sector development we established in 2008 two modern hospitals, Al-Amal Specialist Hospital and Tihama Specialist Hospital.

The success in Yemen encouraged the expansion of the company’s activities into other countries. In 2016, Hilan General Trading Company was established in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as a limited sister company to Al-Arifi Medical Group for Services and Hospital Supplies.

The group’s decision to start manufacturing pharmaceutical products was translated into Hemalive Diagnostic Pharma Company. The factory was established in Istanbul, Turkey, with the aim of manufacturing dietary supplements, cosmetics and personal care products, medical devices, medical laboratory reagents, and rapid test kits.

Having specialized production lines, we produce dietary supplements and cosmetics in different pharmaceutical forms: tablets, effervescent tablets, capsules, syrups, oral vials, sachets, creams, and ointments. In addition, manufacturing division of diagnostic medical devices produes diagnostic analyzers, medical laboratory reagents, and rapid test kits.
