Ostlive Plus® has a balanced formula that provides a rich source of calcium with Co-factors to maintain strong bones and teeth, as well as the health of the heart, muscles, and nerves.
Ostlive Plus® also provides the daily calcium requirement for pregnant and lactating women.
– Calcium: plays an important and vital role in the growth, development, and mineralization of bones and teeth.
– Magnesium: achieves the essential balance with calcium, as magnesium deficiency in the body leads to increased calcium secretion and low blood levels, which cannot be corrected by increasing the doses of calcium and vitamin D only. Magnesium deficiency also reduces the secretion of parathyroid hormone (PTH) which in turn affects the transformation of vitamin D into its effective form (hydroxy Calciferol).
– Manganese: it is considered one of the important minerals for strengthening and maintaining bones, and plays a crucial role in maintaining brain tissue and stimulates the pancreas to produce insulin, as well as regulating metabolism.
– Vitamin D3: contributes to growth, development, and natural mineralization by helping the bones to uptake calcium, as it is responsible for the production of hormones that maintain healthy levels of calcium and phosphorus with bones and blood.
– Zinc: helps the permanent and constant regeneration of bones and reconstruction, as well as the health and safety of the muscles and nerves, Zinc deficiency greatly affects the ability of the bone cells to manufacture the DNA of collagen and proteins which improves bone mineralization.
